This is a great product to prevent dressings from sticking to an open wound...such as long term ulcers or bed sores.

Lost several layers of skin ans flesh of my forehead to rotating equipment. I scrubed the dirt out with a green 3M pad. Using the "Adaptic" the wound never had a scab. I layered the Adaptic, then a "2nd Skin moist burn pad. I held the pads on my forehead with 2 "Band-Aid" extra large, 1 3/4 X 4 in. band-aid plus Antibotic. This treatment lasted about 3 weeks. All is well now.

The product breathes, is non-sticking and easy to apply. I sometimes have trouble deciding which side to use but once I've established that I'm home free. New tissue remains when I remove the dressing.
