The 3M Coban 2 Layer Compression System is engineered with Intelligent Compression Dynamics to stay in place and deliver comfortable, effective, therapeutic compression for venous leg ulcers and other conditions requiring compression.

It is clinically proven to significantly reduce slippage and improve patients' daily living activities and physical symptoms. Latex-free, Coban 2 Layer System consists of an inner comfort layer and an outer compression layer that is fast and easy to apply. It is thin and lightweight it allows patients to wear normal footwear.

The 3M Coban 2 Layer Compression System is ideal for the majority of patients with venous leg ulcers, lymphedema and other conditions where compression therapy is appropriate, including those with an ABPI greater than or equal to 0.8.

I am recovering from surgery to my heel -Right foot- to remove deep infection. As in 'to-the-bone' Gangrene. Surgery was June 5, 2010. The Coban 2 Layer compression wrap works very well. I had been using a 10Meter "Comprilan" half-stretch wrap - Doctor's orders - while on a KCI WoundVac suction pump. It went from my toes to just below my knee. When the pump was no longer needed for my heel wound, I was switched to the Coban product. The RN puts a silver anti-microbial dressing (AquacelAG) two places on the wound and covers with an Exu-Dri pad, then wraps with the two-layer Coban. You need to make sure the inner foam layer reaches all the way to just below the knee, and that the top layer of Coban isn't on bare skin. It will pull on EVERY HAIR it touches. I'm about ready to shave that area of my upper leg. The Coban wrap is comfortable to wear on the leg. All-in-all, a minor complaint for a GOOD product.
