DuoDERM CGF Border Dressing

DuoDERM CGF Control Gel Formula Dressing - Bordered

DuoDERM CGF Border dressing incorporates a unique ConvaTec hydrocolloid formulation that distinguishes it from other hydrocolloid dressings. It can be used for 'hard-to-dress' areas. The dressing features a wide outer foam border that does not require additional taping. DuoDERM CGF Border dressing is indicated for use on dermal ulcers including full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers (Stage II-IV), leg ulcers, superficial wounds, partial thickness burns and donor sites.

The DuoDERM CGF (Control Gel Formula) Dressing products interact with wound exudate and enable removal with little or no damage. The DuoDERM CGF Control Gel Formula Dressing helps protect against contamination and is sterile.

Works the best for us. Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Promotes Healing.
Describe Yourself:
Parent.

This DuoDerm product is the best we have found for the coverage and the healing of my father's bed sore. The ends will curl. I've started using a tagadem product to keep the edges secure and dry. This patch will last up to 5 to 7 days and finally we are seeing healing of the wounds.

Answer:
I normally leave the Duoderm control gel formula border dressing on for 3 to 5 days. I prefer the border dressing because it seems to protect the pressure sore more and reduces the discomfort.
