3M Durapore Surgical Silk Tape
1" wide x 10 yards long
3M Durapore Surgical Silk Tape is a "silk-like" cloth tape with a latex-free, hypoallergenic adhesive that offers high strength and adhesion. It especially adheres well to dry skin. Durapore Surgical Tape is the most economical, high-strength and high-adhesion tape offered by 3M. This tape is conformable and has bi-directional tear. It is excellent for securing regular and bulky dressings, tubing, and immobilization.

Best Tape for Skin Ever
Pros:
Strong hold; Painless Off.
Easy To Use.
Effective.
Safe.
I use it to hold gauze on ulcerated skin, but it is great for general medical use.

The Best Tape
Strong, great adhesive, doesn't stretch like plastic tapes, is white, not transparent, is woven like cloth, so it easily tears lengthwise.
I keep one roll with my medical supplies and one in my toolbox.

Pros:

Have used this for years. Good for situations where you rely on tape to hold catheter...may be rough on fragile skin.

Use for long term wound care in conjunction with Invacare Non-adhesive sterile gauze dressing and regular gauze pads (non-sterile). This tape is the best I have found. It holds bandage in place without pulling.
