Feeding Tube Attachment Device protects skin and provides patient comfort through advanced hydrocolloid skin care technology. Feeding Tube Attachment Device secures the tube without the use of tape. The Feeding Tube Attachment Device's unique clamp helps prevent the tube from kinking or becoming occluded. It prevents nasal irritation and ulceration; the clamp swivels, which permits entry of tube into right or left nasal passage.

  • Occlusive: Made with a material that does not allow water vapor to pass through it.
  • Non-Woven Backing: A porous plastic material that covers the dressing.
  • Self Adhesive: The dressing has properties that allows it to adhere to dry skin initially and to wet or dry skin after initial application.
  • Absorbs Light Exudate: Dressing absorbs a small amount of fluid coming from the wound.
  • FlexWear Skin Barrier: Flexwear is a cross-linked hydrocolloid skin barrier that provides aggressive adherence to the skin. It is designed to be durable in the presence of corrosive fluids.

This product is easy to use but not safe for patiens. I have witnessed many times tube dislodgements from the use of this product. Some nurses are using this for a large bore nasal tubing. The safety lock of this product is to small to secure a large size NG tube.
