My husband's skin is very sensitive to tape. Hypafix is gentle enough to not leave sores when removed, but is strong enough to adhere without falling away on its own.

Use under and over Ktape

Pros:
Effective. Easy To Use. Safe.
Best Uses:
Protect skin under Ktape. Protect under Leukotape. Helps over Ktape anchors.
Describe Yourself:
Medical Professional. personal use.

The only thing that could be improved is the removable backing; it comes off in two sides which sometimes results in the tape sticking to itself. I think I'd like it better if I could unroll the backing like we do with kinesiotape.

Answer:
The Hypafix stays on very well after showers and baths. We have not experienced Hypafix after swimming. You do need to work at getting it off even after a long shower.

Answer:
I have always had terrible allergic reactions to bandages and tapes of all kinds. Following major surgery, my wound would not heal, in part because of irritation of the skin due to the tape used to secure the dressing. My doctor tried Hypafix and I was able to wear the wound dressing comfortably for 3 months. It saved me from having to spend more time in the hospital or suffer itching and tissue breakdown as I had with every other tape. I highly recommend Hypafix for people with sensitive skin.
