My husband's skin is very sensitive to tape. Hypafix is gentle enough to not leave sores when removed, but is strong enough to adhere without falling away on its own.

Hypafix sticks better than standard band aids and doesn't leave the sticky tape mess some tapes do. It let's the wound breathe and with gauze underneath it works great.

I am using it as an anchor on my knee under another, stickier tape to keep my patella in place. It keeps the other tape in place without residue on my skin.

 DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS TAPE HAS THE HOLDING THAT THE MEDLINE BRAND MEFIX HAS? WITH SKIN PREP FROM MEDLINE. IM LOOKING FOR A CHEAPER BRAND OF TAPE WITH THE SAME QUALITY OF THE MEDLINE TAPE.I USE THIS AND GAUZE FOR PRESSURE SORES ON BACK OF THIGHS FROM BEING IN WHEELCHAIR ALL DAY...
