The Invacare Calcium Alginate Wound Dressing is for the management of wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. It gels on contact with wound fluid to form an ideal moist healing environment. The highly absorbent fibers swell, but remain intact for easy dressing removal. The vertical "wicking" minimizes maceration.
