KALGINATE is a sterile nonwoven calcium alginate dressing manufactured with a heavier denier fiber, which makes it thicker and more substantial than other calcium alginate dressings. Produced at DeRoyal's own textile mills in the U.S. KALGINATE Calcium Alginate Dressing absorbs twice the exudate of other calcium alginate dressings and maintains its integrity after absorption both at the wound site and on removal. Available as a pad or a rope dressing.
