I used the prodcut on a burn on my side cause by boil water. Some areas were 3rd degree. It healed within 14 days of use. I changed the product every time I got it wet. I think it is designed to leave on for ectended periods of time. It is a great product. I have used it on blisters also and it helps the skin replace or something. What ever the reason, it is fantastic.
