Oil Emulsion Dressings are nonadhesive petrolatum dressings. They are knitted mesh fabric impregnated with a blend of mineral oil and USP white petrolatum. Oil Emulsion Dressings are the primary choice for virtually any draining wounds: skin ulcers, burn treatment, delicate plastic surgery, ER abrasions and lacerations, infected areas, suture lines, episiotomies and circumcisions. Oil Emulsion Dressings allow free drainage of exudate away from the wound. They feature a convenient peel-open, tamper-proof package. Similar to ADAPTIC Dressing.
