OpSite IV3000 is a moisture responsive transparent film dressing specifically designed to meet the needs of catheter fixation and to keep the catheter site dry. Independent clinical experts have proven OpSite IV3000 to offer safe, secure and cost effective catheter fixation and believe it to be ‘a technological advance for IV site care’. The 1 Hand delivery system provides quick and easy aseptic application to all major catheter types.

OpSite IV 3000 Dressing Benefits:
- Reduces risk of infection by preventing moisture accumulation: The patented Reactic film in OpSite IV3000 has a unique molecular structure which is significantly more permeable to water vapor than ordinary films. This prevents the accumulation of moisture underneath the dressing so reducing bacterial growth and the risk of catheter-related infection.
- Minimizes unscheduled dressing changes: The higher permeability of OpSite IV3000 keeps the skin drier so improving dressing adherence and reducing the number of unscheduled dressing changes.
- Greater patient comfort:OpSite IV3000 is kind to the patient’s skin. Its low allergy adhesive and highly permeable Reactic film help prevent skin maceration or irritation and result in improved patient comfort.
- Excellent catheter stability: The highly conformable OpSite IV3000 film allows the patient to move freely and yet will remain firmly adhered around the catheter hub so ensuring excellent fixation.
- Convenient visual inspection: OpSite IV3000 is transparent and so allows regular inspection of the catheter insertion site for signs of infection or phlebitis without the need for dressing removal.
- Waterproof barrier: OpSite IV3000 is waterproof and allows the patient to bathe or shower with the dressing in situ.
- Easy application and removal: The 1 Hand delivery system is designed to provide quick and easy aseptic application. It also allows the dressing to be applied with 1 Hand if required leaving the other hand free to stabilize the catheter or patient. The unique grid pattern adhesive makes dressing removal easier than with ordinary films as it reduces pain on removal and leaves less adhesive residue on the patients skin.

Does What It's Supposed To Do!
Pros:
Easy To Use.
Effective.
This product was recommended to use with my glucose sensor to keep it securely in place. It is waterproof, as described and adheres very well to my skin. Recommend the Uni-Solve Adhesive Wipes along with this product.

for insulin pump catheter sites
Pros:
Easy To Use.
Effective.
Best Uses:
Keep In The Medicine Cabinet.
An insulin pump is wonderful, unless your sweat loosens the adhesive holding down the insertion site. Opsite IV 3000 on top of an area of rolled on (and dried) antiperspirant provides a rock-solid base to inject through that will last for the 3 days till the next tubing change.
The only downside is that it adheres so well that it can cause skin tears on the edges. This is alleviated by stretching the skin in all four directions while applying the Opsite. After applying, release the skin and you have one very durable landing site for tubing changes.

 iv3000 1 hand. my box says 2 3/8in by 2 3/4in or 6cm by 7cm. your web site says 2 3/8 by 2 1/4. that might be too small. do you have the 2 3/4 size?
