Hi, My question is can Omni-flex connectors be washed and reused? I have a particular patient who is using 4 daily while his insurance is allowing 4 monthly. Please advise.

Answer:
Yes the connectors and be cleaned like suction supplies and reused. Suffer from the same insurance limitation and found it necessary to buy spare connectors. Sometime there is just too much mucus to even try to clean or if I am concerned about my client getting an infection. If mucus is not clear white, toss connector and use a new one - extra caution to prevent infection
