PolyMem Silver dressings provide the same benefits of the other PolyMem QuadraFoam dressings plus the added antimicrobial benefits of small particle silver to help protect wounds from microbial contamination. PolyMem Silver can be used instead of other dressings containing silver because the dressings support moist wound healing while providing a continuous silver reservoir.

Pros:
Effective. Promotes Healing. Easy To Use.
I like the Polymem without silver for my particular wound, because the wound I was trying to heal is under my breast. My skin is kind of sensitive, so the silver might have been a bit irritating, so I just went back to using the regular Polymem. But I would suggest trying both, since every skin type is different, you might be totally fine with the added silver. But the best thing about these products is that they are truly soft and don't adhere to your skin. Very easy to remove, and no pain. I just cut the Polymem to the size I desire, and tape it on with paper tape, which works pretty well on my delicate skin.
