Wound site was small (1 cm) but open with devitalized tissue/purulent exudate that repeated use of hydrogen peroxide and topical prescription antibiotic ointment could not resolve. First application of Silverlon bandage and wound healing commenced. Can't tell about possibility of reduced scarring just yet, but we're hopeful.
