The Soft Conforming Roll is a rayon/polyester blend that is a non-woven, self-adhering bandage. Soft Conforming Roll has exceptional absorbency, remains in place when saturated and conforms to body contours. Soft Conforming Roll helps prevent lint from entering the wound. Similar to J&J SOF-KLING.

This works well as a replacement for unna boot if you use a skin cream base and finish with a Coban wrap.

It's obvious that these are made from good quality material and work quite well. It's equally obvious that less care is taken with finishing and packaging. They are not wound evenly - a four-inch wide bandage should be wound into a cylinder four inches long. Many of these end up in a cigar-shape about 4 1/2" long. Also, there are 12 of them thrown into a bag, not put into a box or wrapped into a tight brick of 12 like bandages from other manufacturers.

I have chronic diabetic ulcers and the self adhesive material helps keep things in place. It doesn't slip off while I reach for my stock and stays put while I put on the sock and as I go through my day. It stays in put at night while another brand rolls and comes off

A very good product, but could perhaps use a band or rubber band around each roll to keep them from unwinding when you reach into the bag to get one.
