Hydrogel Wound Dressing

Use for minor conditions such as:

  • Minor burns
  • Superficial lacerations
  • Cuts and abrasions (partial thickness wounds)
  • Skin tears
  • Venous ulcers (leg ulcers)
  • Pressure ulcers (including stage IV)

SoloSite Gel Features and Benefits:

  • Rehydrates and helps deslough dry eschar
  • Absorbs exudate
  • Assists autolytic debridement
  • Non-irritating, non-sensitizing, gentle to fragile granulation tissue

Describe Yourself:
4-year caregiver for quad.

I have been caring for John for 4 years. We have had several pressure wounds to care for over that time. The wound he has now is by far the worst of them. Stage III almost stage IV. However, with the solosite and xeroform, I can see healing changes with every 12 hour dressing change!!! It is incredible. What would normally have taken months to heal will probably totally heal in 2. Highly recommend this product!!!

Very very slow Verified Reviewer

Pros:
Safe. Easy To Use.
Cons:
Extremely slow to work.
Best Uses:
Wounds that itch.
Describe Yourself:
Medical Professional.

Seems to only alleviate mild itching and that helps clients to lose a desire to dig at the area. Personally, I think it is a waste of money. I have never seen it actually heal an ulcer.
