Answer:
Derma Sciences' Surgitube Tubular Gauze (Catalog No. GL-210W) is packaged as 7/8 inches X 10 (ten) yards. That's what was delivered when I clicked on the "Add to Cart" button. The image, which shows Western Medical, Ltd. (Catalog No. 219W) 7/8 inches X 50 (fifty) yards, is INCORRECT, so ... good question!

Answer:
I have occasionally used it for fingers but I primarily use it for toes. It is very easy to work with although I am not sure how to use the applicator and I don't use it. Say you need to bandage an index finger. Cut off about twice as much surgitube as you need (8 inches for 4 inch area to bandage) slip it on like a sock, twist the top and turn the excess inside out and cover the same area, it makes a neat, sealed sock over the area. :)

Answer:
This product works for both fingers and toes. "Easy to work with" depends on how well the patient can use scissors and the included applicator, especially with your particular wound. The gauze stays in place better with 1/2-inch tape at the base (or cut 1-inch down to size), but seems to hold well, even without the tape. Application of tubular gauze may take a little time and patience, but it worked well for me.

Answer:
You can use it on fingers. The first time I had it used on me was a finger injury that I had gone to the emergency room for. It works great.
