TRANSPORE Surgical Tape - 2" wide
Transpore Surgical Tape - Transparent
3 Transpore™ Surgical Tape is a transparent, perforated polyethylene film with easy bi-directional tear, strong adhesion, hypoallergenic and is latex-free. Its transparency allows visualization of the skin. Transpore tape is easy to tear into very thin strips and is easy to use even while wearing gloves. It is excellent for securing tubing and dressings that need to be monitored.

This tape is very useful for dressing changes which is mainly what I use it for. It stays secure until you take it off. I do not recommend tearing it off, especially if you have sensitive skin, as I do. I use an adhesive remover to take it off. It comes in handy for a lot of other uses to.

I have used Johnson and Johnson clear plastic tape available at most health and beauty departments. It has poor adhesion and quickly falls off. I went online to see if I could get my favorite Transpore tape, knowing that when I used it at a medical facility where I worked, it was only available through a purchase order from the company. Since things progress, and my job was several years ago, I decided to see if I could come across it via the internet. You can imagine my joy when I came across your site, and saw that it was now available to the general public.
I also have a confession to make. I use it for a unusual reason, as well. I have found a new way to help insure my face!! I am a side sleeper, and have gotten a line on my cheek where my face kind of "bunches" up at night, and it upset me very much. I used the J&J tape to put it where the line is, but it kept falling off. Since using this, I have not had an exacerbation of the line, and hope that in time, the line will be greatly diminished. I couldn't be happier!!
