Transpore White Dressing Tape
2" Wide x 10 Yards Long
3M Transpore White Dressing Tape is a latex-free, hypoallergenic, gentle tape that has strong adhesion and easy bi-directional tear. Designed to combine the best features of Transpore tape with those of Micropore tape, it is very versatile and provides good value.
Transpore White tape provides good long-term (72 hours) adhesion which may result in less frequent unplanned dressing changes due to edge lift. Transpore White tape is breathable and holds well on damp and dry skin, supporting great standardization for many patients.

I often use this tape to extend the "life" of my ileostomy appliances. The bottom adhesive on the appliance will often give way under stress, bending, flexing, etc. and this product is excellent at providing a quick and effective fix so that the appliance can continue to do its job.

Chronic Skin Problems.
I have used a lot of tape bandaging diabetic ulcers for years. I am allergic to products with latex adhesives. This tape tears easily to just the right length -- no fumbling with a dispenser. It stays stuck when used on dry skin. It leaves no residue, and doesn't damage fragile healing skin when removed. Wide enough to anchor gauze dressings without "gift wrapped" look. Does not make skin sweat and itch in hot weather.
