Woun'Dres Collagen Hydrogel promotes autolytic debridement by rehydrating and softening dry wounds and necrotic (dead) tissue. Woun'Dres Collagen Hydrogel provides a moist environment facilitating optimal wound healing.
Woun'Dres Collagen Hydrogel Indications:
- Diabetic ulcers
- Lower extremity ulcers including venous, arterial, and mixed etiology
- Partial and full thickness wounds
- Pressure ulcers
- Venous stasis ulcers
- Surgical wounds
- First and second-degree burns, including management of abrasions and burns associated with laser resurfacing and dermabrasion

- Clear amorphous gel which allows easy wound visualization
- Beneficial the skin and the wound healing process
- Allantoin protects the skin and stimulates tissue growth
- Panthenol maintains an optimal moisture balance

I am a wheelchair user and get sores on the back of my thighs from shear. No other creams, lotions or gels have had any effect because the shear is ongoing. Only the Coloplast gel provides enough of a coating to keep the skin from being reinjured every day. The only improvement I could recommend is to give it a slight color so my husband's aging eyes can see the edges and get the bandage to cover all of it.

As a long time wheelchair user & a diabetic for over 25 years I tried Woundres Ointment to heal pressure sores. I use a coccyx cushion & watch closely to start treating sores when they show up - before they become a problem. Woundres heals them very quickly. Much faster than the prescriptions I have from wound care clinic. Plus it is not messy to use like the meds. from the clinic.
