WOUN’DRES Collagen Hydrogel
Woun'Dres® Collagen Hydrogel promotes autolytic debridement by rehydrating and softening dry wounds and necrotic tissue. Hydrogels provide a moist environment facilitating optimal wound healing.
WOUN’DRES Collagen Hydrogel Features:
- Clear amorphous gel which allows easy wound visualization
- Mild preservative provides a two year shelf life
- Contains ingredients beneficial to the skin and the wound healing process:
- Collagen is the main component of skin and connective tissue and is known to play an important role in all phases of wound healing
- Allantoin is a skin protectant that stimulates tissue growth
- Panthenol maintains an optimal moisture balance
- pH-balanced to the wound bed
- Unlike many other hydrogels, contains no propylene glycol, a preservative that has been shown to inhibit skin cell growth and damage cell membranes

Bought this for my mother-in-law who was suffering with ulcers on the back of her legs--she suffered for years. She used this for only several days and saw results immediately. No pain anymore and no open sores. Best there is!!!!

I am using it for a pressure sore that is in a very difficult area to keep a bandage on. I am hoping that if I use it consistently, it will help at least control it!

I have been using SilvaSorb Hydrogel on my blisters on both legs for 2 years and decided to try this product. I am a long term Diabetic and the skin on my legs is fragile. Blisters pop up and then break, leaving open wounds. Right now I am using this product mostly because the price is 1/2 of the other and so far have seen the same results that SilvaSorb gives me. After showering, dry the area, smoothe on the gel and cover with sterile 4X4s, then either wrap the legs or I use support hose to keep in place. If you are using Silvasorb Hydrogel, try this product and see if it will work for you.

I bought this product to use on my own venous stasis ulcers when they appear intermittently. On the very first use on a painful ulcer, I knew this was money well spent. I've been home-treating my leg ulcers for several years, and all dressings I tried, whether on my own research or a dressing given to me by a wound care clinic, were either too messy, did very little if anything to lessen the pain, didn't significantly speed up the healing process, were too expensive, or all of the above.
But perserverance paid off, and with the very first use of this Woun'Dres, I knew I'd finally found what I'd been needing and looking for. At the time, I had 2-3 leg ulcers that were particularly painful and resisting a good heal. Immediately after I applied the Woun'Dres, the ulcer pains stopped completely. Even pressing on them brought no return of the pain. And application of the product was not messy at all, and it conformed immediately to the shape of the wound bed, and within a minute or so I felt like 'the hole in my leg' had disappeared, so natural and pain free did it feel. After it was applied, I was amazed to see how quickly the leg ulcers healed, and how well it stayed on/in the wound until I chose to remove it. I've been using it now for about a year, and not once has it failed to immediately relieve the wound pain and help the wound heal quickly. Again, I use it for my venous stasis ulcers, but I have faith it would work for any similar condition. I can't recommend this highly enough.
