The Contoured Tall-Ette Elevated Toilet Seat easily attaches to standard or elongated toilets to help people who have trouble bending their knees or do not have the strength to stand up from low positions. The contoured surface provides a more comfortable and supportive seat. The Tall-Ette elevated toilet seat is available in 2", 4", and 6" heights. All three sizes are also available for Standard Round or Elongated toilets and have a 300-pound weight capacity. Standard toilet seats come with a Slip-In Lok-In-El Bracket that provides a fast, convenient, and safe way to secure the seat. Elongated toilet seats come with the Lok-In-El bolt-down bracket that holds the elevated seat securely on elongated toilet bowls: full inner ring contact with the bowl is not required.

Q:
I want the round-bowl 2" high riser. I understand that its attachment slides in between the bolts on the existing toilet seat. What puzzles me is if the existing seat can come down and rest on the riser, or must it stay upright next to the tank? I would prefer to sit on the seat, not the riser itself.

The seat does not come down on the riser. Must sit on riser

The toilet seat must stay up once riser is installed.

not sure about the material that it's made of, I'm guessing plastic. it does fit my American Standard elongated toilet

It did not fit my elongated toilet. Was told I needed a longer flange in back for installation??
