everything was great except the head of the long screw came flat, without a slot for the screwdriver to be inserted to tighten. Had to use a hack saw to make a slot.

Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper.

Purchased for my dad after hip surgery. It worked well getting on and off the toliet. Doesn't look too bad but made it hard for my grandkids to use the toilet. Even when tightened downit still will slide back and forth on the the toilet rim. I didn't like that too much but it did work.

Q:
How far does the handle extend to the side when it is in place on the toilet? The toilet I have is close to the wall and there is only 5 1/2" from the outside edge of the toilet to the wall. Will this fit in that space or will the handle hit the wall? I see the product is non-returnable so I need to know this before ordering. Thanks!
