Good catheter for price

Pros:
Lightweight. Easy Storage. Safe. Inexpensive in comparison.
Cons:
Not as firm as I need .
Best Uses:
Daily.
Describe Yourself:
PARAPLEGIC.

I use this catheter to supplement my Medicare catheter order. It is a good catheter my only issue is that I require a firm catheter and this specific catheter is just a little on the soft side.

I would buy this product again and again Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Lightweight. Safe.
Cons:
Bulky.
Describe Yourself:
Athletic.

I use this product regularly. Good thing is they are closed system. I only do not like the fact: they are individually wrapped in too large bags.

I have ordered and received these. The 1st & 2nd time I tried to use one of these, I leaked all over myself. Is there a trick, or some special way I need to use these in order to keep this from happening? I would really appreciate any & all answers/tips&tricks. TIA L

Answer:
I use these catheters on my husband because he doesn't have the dexterity in his hands to do it himself. I have learned that you have to keep the bag in a vertical position as much as possible or urine can leak out around the top where the catheter goes into the bag. The seal is not liquid proof and I too found that out the hard way. As long you keep the bag at least angling downward when you advance the catheter, you should avoid have a leaky mess. I hope that makes sense and is helpful.
