Product Overview

Cure Medical Cure Intermittent Straight Catheter w/ Hydrophilic Coating

Cure Medical Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter
Straight Tip, Male, 16" length

The Cure Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter is a high quality affordable hydrophilic sterile straight tipped catheter with a purified water packet and gripper for easy use. Unlike saline, the purified water minimizes staining. The sterile purified water packet allows you to activate the hydrophilic catheter anywhere.

Cure Hydrophilic Catheter Features & Benefits:

  • Extremely smooth fire polished eyelets with instant hydration
  • Purified water to minimize staining (never saline)
  • Textured sleeve for easier insertion
  • DEHP/BPA
  • Latex Free
  • Foldable for discreet storage in bag or pocket
  • Individually wrapped
  • For single use only

Cure Medical Is The Only Manufacturer To Offer:

  • 100% DEHP Free products, as a known carcinogen, DEHP should not be in medical devices. At Craig Rehab in Denver they found that I.C. users were 100 times more likely to develop bladder cancer. People with a higher risk of cancers should avoid carcinogens.
  • 100% latex free products, a latex allergy can change a life forever, no more elastic in clothing, no rubber bands...
  • 100% fire polished eyelets on all products, all the time. I wouldn’t use a product with cold punched eyelets, so we won’t manufacturer them.
  • Cure Medical gives 10% back to find a cure; it is time for manufacturers to step up. There are many ideas to find a cure, but without funding, nothing will ever happen.

Excellent quality - easy to use!

Pros:
Great quality. Very easy to use. Hygenic. Inexpensive .
Cons:
None.

I use these catheters 4-5 times a day. They have a soft plastic gripper, so you don't touch the catheter at all, avoiding risk of uti's. Also easy to use in public restrooms. Quality of the product is very good too, very smooth without rough edges. Price is excellent too.

Easy To Insert. No Touch

Pros:
No Touch. Ease of Insertion. Discreet. Hydrophilic. Comfortable and Painless .
Cons:
None that I've found.
Best Uses:
Any Time. Travel. In Public Restrooms.
Describe Yourself:
Active male.

These catheters are as good if not better than the more expensive brands of hydrophilic catheters with a sleeve to grip without your hands touching the catheter. The polished eyelets are smooth as stated and not noticeable during insertion or withdrawal. I use a skin disinfectant around the urethral opening for additional protection from infection. Using in public restrooms is a snap. It's hard to keep your hands clean in public restrooms, but the sleeve keeps your hands from touching the catheter to help prevent UTIs. And you don't have to deal with messy lubricants.

Good Design - Easy to Use

Best catheter I have ever used. Well lubricated, easy to insert. Minimizes the possibility of infection. The only negative is that the gripper sleeve is a bit too long.
