I liked the handrail, unfortunately mother did not like it. The handrail prevented her from being able to reach over and use her bedside table.

Q:
I have an adjustable bed and the big problem is the rail fitting between the mattress and box spring without it interfering with the motion of the head of the bed lifting up. Is this small enough that it won't interfere with this motion? I can't tell from the picture how it fits under the mattress. Please advise, and thank you.
