Chewy Tubes™ An innovative oral motor device designed to provide a resilient, non-food, chewable surface for developing and practicing biting and chewing skills. Has a safe, non-toxic surface, is latex- and lead-free, and has no PVC or phthalates. Used with children (over 9 months) who are developing initial oral motor skills or who need additional proprioceptive inupt into the jaw. Chewy Tubes provide tactile input at the loci of the molar dentition/molar gum region. A tube is presented laterally into the mouth. The stem of the tube is touched to the cutting surface of the molar teeth/gum. May be cleaned by washing with mild soap and water.
