Q:
Are these syringes suitable for 0.25 ml IM testosterone injections?
Asked on Apr 17, 2016 9:21:10 AM by cdubs from LA
A:
Yes but you need to use a 21G 1 inch draw needle to fill the syringe. it will take forever to draw with 25G as it is oil based

Yes. I have used for 20 years. I don't use larger needle to draw from vial, but it takes longer to draw directly with 25G needle.

So, I used this syringe for the first time for my testosterone shot. Overall, I totally underestimated how long it would take for it to fill up to .25 with not switching heads. Having to draw it back half way or more to wait for it to fill up. The best thing out of it all was I barely noticed being injected, with is nice compared to a 22 or 23G needle.
**Do note, if you are going to get separate needles for drawing it back, the syringe is a slip tip. Something that I didn't notice when I ordered these. I just glad I didn't order needles just yet.
