Q:
Can you give some specifics on how this disc "activates major muscle groups"? As in, X minutes sitting on disc equals X minutes of ______ (comparable exercise). Thanks in advance!

I use this faithfully. I have a painful back & I needed to strengthen my core (abs) to stop the pain. Within the 2 hours I had to stop using the disc for the day. I could feel the muscles. I was fine the next day & increased my time sitting on the disc. It is one of the few items that actually work. I have been told it is the equivalent of sitting on an exercise ball. My back is also much improved. The disc comes semi inflated. That is the correct amount of air. I tried adding more air & it didn't work as well. The 14" is perfect for a woman. A man would need a 16". I have 12 friends in my social club that also ordered them. All swear by this disc.
