Two things which bother me are the inconvenience of filling the dumbbells and the lack of varying sizes. You can put in less water to make each dumbbell lighter but it does make it a little floppy. There are no distinguishing fill-marks on the dumbbells. It does take some getting used to when you are accustomed to regular free weights.

what is the minimum weight that these can be? I am looking for 3 lb hand weights to do lots of reps and aerobics with, but can't find anywhere what's the smallest weight for these dumbbells.
