Q:
do these briefs have a plastic backing or are they the type with velcro and cloth like backing?I want the ones with plastic backing.

A:
I used to buy the briefs with the plastic backing but the docs and nurses at the hospital were insistent that we discontinue the use of them. They felt strongly that the plastic barrier can create skin breakdown issues.

No, they do not have a plastic backing. We tried these but did change to ones with a plastic backing because the plastic kept the outer garments dryer.

Q:
My sister is bedridden, and my father buys her the Walmart Assurance brand. Would McKesson Stay Dry be the closest to that brand? This would sure save my parents a lot of money and running around. Thanks so much. This website is already saving them money on surgical gloves and bedpads.

I have tried Assurance brand on my 23 yr old daughter and I like the McKesson Stay Dry better. They are paper like on the outside and just as good at absorption.
