Good Price Value

Pros:
Easy Storage. Lightweight. Safe. Not lifelong durable.
Cons:
Plenty of life at this $$.
Best Uses:
Cut wafers for appliance.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

I would give it a full 5 but they won't last a lifetime. I like to have a pair in the everyday travel kit, in our motor home, in our home and in our summer cottage. The price makes it possible. That way we are never without a pair. Regular scissors just don't work the same.

Answer:
Absolutely! This is the primary purpose for this type of scissor. It help you cut the wafer in a smoother circular motion with "cleaner" edges, so there are less rough areas to potentially irritate the skin or stoma.

Answer:
Yes, they are curved for a reason. Waffers are easier to cut and no two ostomies are alike. Straight scissors are not made for ostomies.

Answer:
Yes, these are very good as long as you keep a sharp edge. I used barriers for colostomy and these work great for cutting the hole size correctly.
