No-Sting Skin Prep Wipes
No-Sting Skin Prep has liquid in the wipes that forms a protective film to prepare skin for drainage tubes, external catheters, surrounding ostomy sites, tapes, and other adhesives. The non-alcohol formula minimizes stinging and irritation. No-Sting Skin Prep™ can be used in sensitive places, such as stoma areas, to protect skin and may reduce irritation from contact with body wastes and fluid. This product may be used to protect intact and damaged skin.
No-Sting Skin Prep™ is easily cleaned using skin cleanser or soap and water, so unsanitary residue is not left in or around the wound. Only one coat is needed to form a protective film due to the thick formula, making application more comfortable. No-Sting Skin Prep™ is easy to apply on all areas and won't crack or peel.
Precautions: For external use only; avoid contact with eyes. In the case of accidental contact, flush eyes well with water. Do not apply directly to open wounds or in deep puncture wounds. Should redness or other signs of irritation appear, discontinue use. Keep out of the reach of children.

This was used on my infant grandson's face before placing tape to hold his oxygen on and it made his face look as though it had been burned. It only did this to one side of his face. Why did it do this?
