Great pump for outside the home

Pros:
Can use @ home on IV pole. Can use for ambulatory. Can use for travel. easy to prime. easy to understand.
Cons:
need a backpack created . for the joey pump - like . a hip sack size. or a small backpack size. current bag have to have. strap over shoulder and . is the size of a small . suitcase -- no no good.
Best Uses:
best pump I have ever use. in the last 12 yrs I have. had a gastrostomy.
Describe Yourself:
disabled, but still does . things as health permits. likes cruises, car travel. dislikes being treated as. if being disabled makes m. me unable to take care of. self.

This is a great pump. It has a priming feature which does not require you to hold a button down. Uses both 500ml and 1000ml bags. You can use this as an ambulatory pump or with the attachment attach it to an IV pole and use it daily at home. Very Versatile. Worth looking up if you are in the market to purchase an enteral pump.

A:
This is what I do. I take a medium size hook which has a suction cup on it and suction cup it to the bathroom mirror fill the bag with warm/hot water & then stretching the hose w/my fingers (the wheel on the pump), keep doing this until the water runs free down the hose & then I put the end of the hose in the sink (take rest of the hose and curl it up and lay it on the sink so the water you are running through the hose has no "hill" to go up) and then I go to bed and by the time I get up the water has gone through the hose cleaning the bag and the hose out. I also slosh the water around in the bag prior to it running through the hose so the bag looks cleaner than it started with. That is what I did when I had to reuse the bags.
