Just a guess but I'd say these are the nursing home variety that are meant as a one size fit. Meaning you don't deal with barriatric, and they probably stretch on the legs or pull up after you attach. I don't have mobility issues so underwear is what I use. I am young and mine is very minor and associated with colon problems so fortunately I won't have this issue for awhile. These would be great for someone that has trouble getting out of bed at night to use the restroom, but can still kind of try. if you couldn't get out of bed and went several times it would be a small amount, but you'd probably have it hold up on you. I think thats the purpose of these overnight ones, to hold up for multiple small amounts. Typically a care provider should change you once at night, not healthy to sit there all night long. Long car rides... people who have multiple goes even small ones... but underwear is for people who can get to the toilet or can make an attempt, briefs are people with mobility issues or decide not to attempt, at night time you will lay on your back or your front, just how it is. I had this issue with the sleep aid and I went three times, about the only bed wetting I'll get, as the only time I really went besides that was when the drip timed with me trying to hold it in. thats more significant because its a whole bladder release, good to go when you gotta go, but super underwear is pretty absorbent.
