Wireless PIR Fall Detection System incorporates all of the benefits of our traditional PIR system with the added convenience of three new features: an optional wireless remote alarm unit, a new delay/reset button, and two nurse call options.

The Complete Wireless System is comprised of three main components that can be ordered in any configuration (see options below). The components include the main PIR transmitter unit, which mounts to the bed and monitors for unwanted movement. The optional remote alarm unit mounts outside the patient's room up to 100 feet away from the PIR transmitter and sounds and flashes when the alarm is triggered to help the caregiver quickly locate the patient in need. Finally, the PIR transmitter unit sends a wireless signal to remote nurse call receiver. This alerts the nurse call station when the alarm is triggered, without using a cord or cable.

The PIR transmitter functions just like our traditional PIR unit (#XW2058 and #XW2059) with the addition of a delay button that allows the caregiver to temporarily deactivate the unit in order to assist the patient without triggering the alarm. The caregiver doensn't have to remember to turn the alarm back on because it automatically resets. Delay can be set to 10 or 20 seconds. This new unit also has a standard nurse call jack, which accepts a call cord with a ¼" plug.

PIR transmitter and Remote alarm unit both use one 9V battery. Remote alarm unit uses three C batteries. Batteries not included.
