My 18 month old daughter was born with a minor bowel issue that is treated with laxatives. The laxatives often lead to loose stool and bad diaper rashes. I use Critic Aid as a moisture barrier and treatment for the rash. It works very well and allows the skin to heal nicely. When using this product please note that it will adhere very well to the skin, and its best not to try to rub it all off at each diaper change (that will only irritate the skin more). Instead, simply clean the area of excess soil and apply more cream. The paste can be washed away in the next bath.

Q:
I have cut inside butt I've tried all kinds of stuff to heal it, I think because of all the moisture keep it from healing, will this paste work.

I can't answer positively but I have been using it for years because my son has a g-tube. It keeps the area around the tube dry preventing redness and irritation. He has never had an infection there and he has had the g-tube for 20 years. It is like a paste. I hope this helps you.

I have used it for severely irritated areas but not for a cut. It protects continually moist peri-anal areas well.

I use this product now over 3 years on my mother.She is morbid obese and it helps the skin on skin that never breathes.Excellent product on skin tears also,Just do not completely remove,wipe excess off that is soiled and reapply.
