Q:
I have a 100 lb. lab on 20 units of insulin twice a day. thicker skin than smaller dogs are. Wouldn't this 29G work better?

I have a medium size dog who was just diagnosed with diabetes. She takes 5 units of insulin twice daily. Will this needle be ok for her. Trying to find a good price.

This will work but your dog may not like it. I recommend a comfort syringe, 100 unit, 5/16 needle, 31 gauge

i have a tinny chuchuwawa and i give her shots with them i believe you can unless you have a big dog then i would use a 1"in.gauge
