Wish I had purchased the big roll. Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Safe. Easily cut to size needed. Promotes Healing. Effective. Easy To Use.
Cons:
Needs to be changed often.
Best Uses:
Cronic wounds.
Describe Yourself:
Novice First Aid Skills. Diabetic foot wounds.

I am using this product on a cronic diabetic wound located on the bottom of my foot. The soft foam fits in the curves of my foot and draws away any moisture in the wound. It is not as thick or dense as other foams I have used and needs to be changed at least twice a day. Since my wound is small I can cut the 4x4 to the size I need. I noticed this product came in a roll and I will reorder it that way next time.

Describe Yourself:
Horse owner and care.

Eighteen years ago one of my miniature horses had an injury to her shoulder that extended up over her whithers. She lost all the hair and skin in this area down to the bare flesh. My veterinarian was at a loss to do anything to that large a wound. I searched for wound dressings on my computer an found your site. I found a rep in my area and bought a large supply from her. I was amazed how the margins around her wound began to heal. It took three months for it to heal completely. I think your product is a life saver Thank you so much for this great discovery. I shall always be grateful.

Q:
How do you apply the pad. Do you put this in a deep cut. The Dr gave this to us but I didn't know how to apply.

i have a small wound on my leg so i just cut a size that will fit in the wound and put a small gauze pad over it and tape it with paper tape because i am allergic to some adhesive.

You'll want the dressing to extend around the wound by at least a quarter inch. You can cut the dressing to make the dressing last if it is much larger than your wound. Apply the dressing film side out (the side with writing.) There is no need to flush/debride the wound between dressing changes, as this bandage does the debridement for you - unless your doctor directed you to flush with saline. Just do so gently. Keep the wound and dressing dry while bathing.
