Original PF Night Splint
Chronic pain from plantar fasciitis is often worse in the
morning. Many professionals believe the pain is the result of
contractures and muscle tightening while sleeping. Studies have
demonstrated that sleeping in a night splint can materially
lessen morning pain. The painful stretching process is eliminated
by avoiding footdrop and accompanying muscle tightening.
The foot plate is set in 5° dorsiflexion. The strap at the instep ensures that the foot sits in registration with the splint. Strap pads protect leg and instep from pressure. Available with toe dorsiflexion wedge. Liner included. Splint fits left or right foot.
Sizing for Original- Small fits Women's shoe size 4 - 7.5
- Med. fits Women's shoe size 4-10, Men's 6- 8 ½
- Lg. fits Women's 10 ½+, Men's 9+
