Silverlon Island Wound Dressing

Silverlon Island Wound Dressings(with and without slits) are multilayer dressings that combine a moisture barrier (film urethane layer), an absorbent pad (rayon) with a Silverlon wound contact surface. The Silverlon Island Dressing has the added benefit of a layer of elastomeric fabric adhesive tape, while the Silverlon Pad, is manufactured without the tape.

The Silverlon multilayer design provides a wound dressing that is easy to apply with the benefits of maintaining a moist wound environment that has been proven to enhance wound healing. Silverlon Island Wound Dressings and Silverlon Pads will be manufactured in a variety of sizes to cover both major and minor wounds.

Approved FDA & Canadian Ministry of Health Indications Silverlon Island and Pad Dressings are multi-layer, sterile, non-adherent, antimicrobial barrier wound dressings intended for wounds such as vascular access or peripheral IV sites, orthopedic external pin sites, wound drain sites, surgical wounds (donor and graft sites, incisions), and partial to full thickness dermal ulcers (Stage I through IV pressure sores, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers).
