Yes You can take a shower with the Stat Lock. It has been great for my husband he is a quadraplegic. What I like is the way the lock turns. It is so much easier for me and it does get caught on his pants.

Yes, you can shower with the device on. The only recommendation I would have is to avoid using body lotion near the area where the StatLock device is attached, it appears that it will loosen the edges of the device making it not adhere as well. We have used the devices for 7 years now. We wash the area prior to applying the device to remove any body lotion/oily residue and then use the prep pads before applying the device.

I left this on over a month! if you try to keep it more dry you can keep it on a long time, it is a great product. It does not feel uncomfortable, can then be reused when it does come off by using foam medical tape… but buy them and dry after the shower… it kind of resticks itself.

2 wks. to a month. You can shower with this no problems. But the glue may begin to come loose or the holder may put loos from the patch. This is the best holder I have found so far. Always ck. for kinks if you have a problem because catheter can Kink even inside the holder.

That entirely depends on the catheter you're using and what it's made of. All silicone foleys generally can be lest in place longer than all latex.
The latest research I've found searching the net (UK NHS, US CDC sites in particular) advise that long term foleys should be changed when 1) they become blocked, 2) when a symptomatic UTI develops, or 3) according to the manufacturer's advise; whichever comes first.

Should not stay in longer than a month. Your doctor or urologist should determine the length of time. Must be aware of UTIs.
