The Elevated Toilet Seat offers all the comfort and convenience of our acclaimed Tall-ette Elevated Toilet Seats, but with a hinged benefit. This model features a seat riser made of two parts which are hinged together, allowing the ring to be lifted in the same manner as your standard toilet seat.
The elevated toilet seat is installed using your standard toilet seat and cover and does not appreciably change the appearance of the toilet. It elevates the seating position by 3" (7.6 cm) for easy sitting and rising. The hinged feature makes cleaning as easy as 1-2-3. Hardware kit included.
The Elevated Toilet Seat is available in Standard Bowl or Elongated Bowl style.
Metal safety frames are incompatible with this toilet seat. The block used to bolt the seat to the toilet will not align with the bolt pattern on the safety frames.

I'm sure there is a weight limit, but I know it will hold 250 lbs. easily. And yes, you need to use your current toilet seat to go on top of this.

Screws provided were too big around. I used smaller screws of the same length and my seat works very well.

Yes, all needed hardware is included.

The screws are very long and I was able to attach the seat through the regular seat and through the back of the toilet bowl. I do not think anyone will have a problem with the length of the screws that are provided.

Yes, the kit fits well through all the parts- seat, lift and toilet base. It's easy to install for anyone with basic tool skills. Sometimes the seal is not tight enough, and there can be leakage between the seat and the lift, or between the lift and the toilet. Be sure to get as tight a seal as you can.

Questions:
Does this fit a elongated toilet?

Question By: Peter on Oct 11 2017 2:31 PM
This fits perfectly on my standard toilet seat. I do not think it is manufactured for an elongated toilet.
Answer By: Mel on Dec 12 2017 6:19 PM
Yes - just indicate when you order that you want the elongated shape. It fits under any elongated seat, too, but sometimes the seal is not tight and there will be leakage between the regular seat and the hinged lift or the base of the toilet. Try to get the best fit you can.
