Complete Thumb Immobilization Splint

Orifit Circumferential splint effectively immobilizes the wrist and thumb. Made of 1/12in Orfit® Micro Perforated splinting material. No need to add a separate thumb piece. The tip of the thumb piece can be cut off if desired. Use in the treatment of inflammatory conditions such as de Quervain's, or after MP joint reconstruction where immobilization of wrist and thumb is required. Determine size by measuring the width from the second to the fifth MP joints. Large 3-5/8in to 4-3/8in (9.2 to 11cm) Encore Circumferential splint effectively immobilizes the wrist and thumb. To size, measure circumference at MP joints and wrist. Sizes overlap, so if a client falls within two ranges, choose the larger size. MP circumference: Small 6-1/2in to 7-1/2in (16 to 19cm), Medium: 7-1/2in to 8-1/2in (19 to 21cm), Large: 8in to 9in (20 to 23cm). Wrist circumference: Small 5-1/2in to 7-1/2in (14 to 19cm), Medium: 6-1/2in to 8-1/2in (16 to 21cm), Large: 7-1/2in to 9-1/2in (19 to 24cm).
