100% Silicone (latex-free) to reduce and possibly eliminate the risk of catheter-related latex allergic reactions. The radiopaque stripe simplifies detection on an x-ray. This product features transparent shafts for easy visual inspection. Folysil silicone lumen is significantly larger than latex lumens in catheters of the same French size. Furthermore, the technology behind allows for more efficient drainage. Silicone is biocompatible and inhibits encrustation. Lastly, these foley catheters are validated for medium to long term use up to a maximum of 30 days.
