Allegro Medical Returns & Exchanges Policy


Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange the item, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your purchase. Items must be returned in new, unused and resalable condition, unopened and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs will be at the customer's expense. Some of our products are offered with free shipping, so please note if you return a product that has free shipping, our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. Returns will be inspected prior to issuing credit.

Please note that all Oakworks products are only eligible for return within 14 days due to the Oakworks return agreement.

Here's how to return something ...

Step 1:

Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. NO returns, of any type, will be accepted without an RMA number. Please have the following information on hand when calling for an RMA number: customer name, invoice number, serial number and the nature of the problem. To obtain an RMA number and return instructions, please call AllegroMedical.com at 1-800-861-3211 or reach out to Customer Service using our contact us form.

Step 2:

If you paid for the purchase with a credit card, your account will be credited back the amount of the purchase once the product has been received. If you paid with a check or money order, allow 2-4 weeks to receive your refund check from AllegroMedical.com from the time we receive the returned product. Items in stock will be credited back the amount of the purchase once the product has been received. Drop ship items can take 2-6 weeks for the refund to be processed.

Step 3:

On all product returns, you are responsible for arranging shipment of the product back to the appropriate AllegroMedical.com warehouse. You may use UPS, FedEx, or any other ground parcel carrier of your choice.

Step 4:

If you are returning an item that is defective or shipped in error by AllegroMedical.com, we apologize for your inconvenience. We will reimburse you the delivery costs and the cost to ship the product back to us. For any other return, you are responsible for the original delivery costs and the return shipping expense.

Terms & Policies

These policies supersede policies appearing on all other AllegroMedical.com literature, and are in effect for purchases made after October 30, 1996.

For all prices and products, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements. AllegroMedical.com is not responsible for manufacturer price changes, which may occur at any time without notice. Footrests or legrests are not included with wheelchairs unless specified.

Please keep all packing material and documentation in the event that your equipment has to be serviced or returned.

All defective products except (wheelchairs, scooters, and patient lifts) will be accepted by AllegroMedical.com for credit, exchange or repair, at AllegroMedical.com's discretion within 30 days from the invoice date. All defective wheelchairs, scooters, and patient lifts will be accepted by AllegroMedical.com for repair or replacement only, at AllegroMedical.com's discretion within 30 days from the invoice date. After 30 days, the manufacturer's warranty applies.

Some non-defective products may be returned for credit or exchange. Those returns authorized by AllegroMedical.com are subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%, and must be completed within 30 days of the date of invoice. Due to manufacturers' return policies, titanium wheelchairs, custom wheelchairs and other custom equipment may be returned to AllegroMedical.com for repairs only -no refunds or exchanges can be made at any time.

All products to be returned must be returned within 30 days from the invoice date, 100% complete, in resalable condition, and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.

AllegroMedical.com reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the invoice date. If the product is accepted after 30 days, credit will be issued toward FUTURE PURCHASES ONLY.

*UNAUTHORIZED RETURN NOTIFICATION* Customers will be charged for shipping fees associated with unauthorized returns that have to be redirected to Allegro's warehouse locations.

Certain products such as raised toilet seats, commodes, erection aids, pillows, cushions, personal care products, etc., may not be returned due to hygiene issues. Due to manufacturers' return policies, titanium wheelchairs, custom wheelchairs and other custom equipment may be returned to Allegro for repairs only - no refunds or exchanges can be made at any time.
