Wrist Support with Universal Cuff - Standard Model

Position the hand in the desired degree of extension with this durable wrist support. When used for wrist drop, both the Standard and Deluxe Wrist Support with Universal Cuff are durable and effective opponen splints. Each have a bendable leather-covered metal dorsal support with leather arm straps. The Standard Model features a leather universal cuff with pocket built into the palmar strap. The Deluxe Model (560163) features a 2-5/8" (6.6cm) deep Kydex palmar cuff with leather pocket riveted to the cuff.

My husband is quadapelic and uses this this and it works great. My mom has Parkinson's and I don't think this would help her at all, mostly likely it would be worse because you less control of the utensil.

I use this universal cuff primarily for holding my eating utensil and keeping my wrist from dropping. As far as preventing the shakes, I doubt it. However, it might help confine it to your entire forearm instead of hands and arms.
