Is this product ridgid enough to pull up compression socks?

No! It is not helpful in putting on compression socks. I have had 2 of these devices snap/crack in half because of the pressure of the socks themselves.

I use these to don thigh high compression hose. I have found if you apply the hose in a different direction than shorter hose, it is easier. I take the toe end and pull it onto the wide end. Pull it on down so the toe is pulled all the way off the aide, p

I use it with calf high non-compression socks. I did attempt to use with knee high compression socks, but their tightness did not permit the cylinder to expand sufficiently to slide over my heel. I don't imagine it would work with thigh igh compression so
