Vitamin C may be the most familiar of all nutrients for its strong benefits. Since we can’t self produce Vitamin C, we need to absorb it through food or supplements. It is always best to receive your vitamins through natural foods however, it’s not always obtainable. This is where vitamin supplements are beneficial. Receiving Vitamin C from natural foods such as green vegetables and fruits are the best ways to absorb Vitamin C. Did you know that Papaya, bell peppers, and broccoli have the largest amounts of Vitamin C? Eating healthy has nothing but positive benefits for your body such as a stronger immune system, heightened alertness, and clear thinking 1. Vitamin C is also commonly known for its benefits for your skin, brain, and immune system which I will go into further discussion below.
